I remember being 17 years old walking into a little home studio/office set up off of Bay Street and cypherin with another SI rapper Apocalypse.. Megatron looked on, nodding as we spit line after line.. I only really seen him a few times since then and it was always just a pound an “I See You” and “Hows Everything ?” . He always had a great ear, and was really one of the only dudes you seen from out here that actually gave you hope, Like WOW SOMEONE FROM STATEN IS ON TV and ON THE RADIO !!
This is Horrible news.. My heart goes out to the fam and everyone who was close to Mega.. R.I.P -AC

This record comes in the wake of Lina’s mother’s diligent efforts to carry on her daughters legacy by releasing new music to the public. Lina’s name is also in the middle of a controversy that involves pop sensation and former friend Lady Gaga. Lina’s mother claims Lady Gaga stole her whole style, identity and edgy look. This story has gained national coverage and has encouraged fans to come to their own conclusion.

On “Angel” (re-adapted by producer J.Glaze, originally produced by Rob Fusari) AC tells a story about a girl lost in the world suffering from severe depression. Lina’s incredible vocal tone and range only enhances the theme of the song.

Fes Taylor is a young veteran in the Hip-Hop game, having been part of the Shaolin Soliders way back in the day with King Just up to now, when he is still a very current, relevant Rap artist as well as a blog favorite. Last year his debut album was released on Chambermusik Records, as presented by Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck. “I am Not a Rapper” is his street album and according to Fes, his most personal statement ever, wherein he presents his new crew the Staten All-Stars. Producers include Chad Beats, Shawneci, Blastah Beatz among others.

Today I shot for the new Nike promo webisodes for the 5 Borough Airforce 1 releases (Staten Island Edition). I had a great time, Shout out: to Emilio Sparks, Cornerstone Promotions, Nike, BBGUNFilm, Fes Taylor and the Staten Allstars, Mike Cash, Kritikal and everyone else who came out. The Trailer should be out later this week and the full webisides will be out next week.
