My friend Benny Blanco passed away this past weekend and I would like to send my condolences to his friends and family. I met Benny attending Five Towns College a few years back, he was one of the most knowledgeable musicians I’ve met in my life. (more…)
It Won’t Break Us Down (feat. Rilgood, Michelle Bernhardt, Mykel Coppola, AC, Heat Scalese, J.Roe, Legasey, Smooth City & Sergio Ramos)
I got a call from my boy Sergio Ramos a while back about a Hurricane Sandy Tribute Track. He wanted to feature a artist from all the affected areas and asked me to represent Staten Island. I love the way the song came out, everyone showed a lot of passion and I am happy to be a part of something that could potentially help rebuild a fucked up house. Bad weather sucks, Good music is better. Listen and buy it. All proceeds go towards Hurricane Relief. Thanks -AC
“The result is a giant instrument made of 21 musical swings; each swing in motion triggers different notes, all the swings together compose a piece, but some sounds only emerge from cooperation.
The project stimulates ownership of the public space, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds, and creating a place for playing and hanging out in the middle of the city centre. ”
Controversial..Repulsive..Offensive… or just down right genius ? New York rapper, AC, is at it again. The self proclaimed “Marketing Genius” has announced his new album “Courtesy of a Nightmare” exclusively produced by beatsmith C4 Sinistah will be released digitally on Halloween, October 31st. The first leak off this album is a song entitled “I Killed the Future President.” With the 2012 presidential election right around the corner, the title seems very off-putting to say the least. I think you will be surprised, dare I say even SHOCKED at what the song is really about.
With projects under his belt like “Attack of the Blogs” and “911 in Retrospect” AC has never been off with his timing and this go around is no different. Be prepared..this album is unlike anything you’ve ever heard.
