My friend Benny Blanco passed away this past weekend and I would like to send my condolences to his friends and family. I met Benny attending Five Towns College a few years back, he was one of the most knowledgeable musicians I’ve met in my life. We have had countless discussions about where music is headed and how the sounds of today lack that passion. This man could play the drums! When I say play the drums.. I mean play the FUCKING drums.. Pardon my french. I had the pleasure of working with Benny a few times. We even documented one of our most well known sessions for a song entitled “I Engeineer” with his band The Senate. Check out the Video below, and lets all put our lighters ( or cellphones) up for my boy Benny Blanco !!! – AC

“Death isn’t like a divorce, or getting fired. You never really get over it. It’s like a cannonball ripped a hole straight through you. You feel like it’s never going to heal, but eventually it does; from the outside in. Then one day you’ll hear a song or smell something and it tears itself right back open again, but it heals back faster each time.” – Wolverine
