Snoop Dogg Confirms Charlie Sheen Collaboration

UPDATE: Snoop tells George Lopez his song with Charlie Sheen and Rob Patterson should hit the masses in less than a week.

UPDATE: (4/01) According to Snoop Dogg, his collaboration with Charlie Sheen and Filters Rob Patterson should be released before the end of next week. During an interview with George Lopez, where Snoop laughed off Cameron Diazs allegations that he sold her marijuana while they were both enrolled at Long Beachs Polytechnic High, he confirmed hitting the studio with Sheen.

Well, you know me and Charliewere working on something right now in the studio trying to put some music togethersomething real crazy, Snoop said. No stranger to the viral Internet meme himself, Snoop has previously released the True Blood tribute Oh Sookie and recorded a bachelor party anthem for Englands Prince William. He told Lopez his work with Sheen captures that same spirit.

Hes a brilliant guy, Snoop added. Im having so much fun just being around him. One thing about me, Im different. I love having different relationships with people who arent the normpeople who arent the usual. One thing about Charlie is, hes not normal. Hes not usual. We making some real, classic material. Well probably put something on Twitter in three or four days.

Sheen announced a collaboration of some sorts March 25 via Twitter. The message featured Sheen, former Korn turned Filter guitarist Rob Patterson and Snoop Dogg in the studio together. Its unclear when or how the music their recording session produced will be released, as Sheen is preparing for the April 14 debut of his Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour. Snoop also worked with members of Korn while appearing in the groups Twisted Transistor video. As odd collaborations go, Snoops work with Sheen and Patterson probably ranks somewhere between his 2003 appearance on Limp Bizkits Red Light, Green Light and the 2008 song My Medicine, which featured Willie Nelson.
