Judge says to worried mom: “You’re lying about your ex threatening to kill your baby” Then EX Kills Baby

Despite making a terrible decision that led to tragedy, Judge Bob Lemkau is running for another term to keep his spot on the bench in San Bernardino County.
In recent months, Katie Tagle pleaded to Lemkau that her son’s father was dangerous and suicidal. Despite numerous text messages and a chilling murder-suicide story, Stephen Garcia was granted partial custody of their son, Wyatt Garcia. Katie sought a restraining order from Stephen that Lemkau overturned and begged that he not be granted visitation unless supervised.
Despite all the proof that Stephen had sent to Katie and her family that he was capable of murder, Judge Lemkau told Katie, “I think you’re lying.”
Even after Stephen uploaded pictures with “RIP” on him and his son, and a letter saying he would kill them along with text messages, Wyatt was released into Stephen’s care.
Days later on Jan. 31, Stephen drove his son into the mountains, where he shot his 9-month-old son and then himself.
Despite this incident, Bob Lemkau has decided he is appropriate to retain his position in our justice system with no remorse for his refusal to see Katie’s evidence and listen to her.
Deputy District Attorney James Hosking has decided to run against Bob Lemkau for superior court judge to make sure that Lemkau is removed from the bench. The election is June 8 and Hosking needs donations to help his campaign be featured in voter mailouts that will be in your mailbox soon.
